I'm interested in getting the Blackberry Storm from Verizon. It's 9 with 2 year plan. If I get this will it come with the data package. Will i have internet right away?

Im pretty sure you will get ur data pack but not positive i think if you just talk with the people at verizon they will tell u where to get one

I bought a Blackberry 7290 on ebay unlocked and it's currently on a t-mobile PAYG sim. Could anyone tell how I can connect to the internet via wifi, and if there is any software that I have to install to get this going?

Here's an article that walks you through the steps. I can connect to wifi at my house, you just need to know the password to the network if its secured.

I had a blackerry pearl for 2 years. I had nothing but problems with the ball that controls everywhere you go. It wouldnt scroll down, or across. I really enjoyed everything else that the phone had to offer. Now that there are new blackberry phones without the ball, should i get another bb? I see that the controller is now like a laptop scroll. AHs anybody had any issues with it so far? thanks

I have an 8530 which has a trackpad.
I like it a lot better than the trackball even though the phone itself sucks.
I have not had any issues with the trackpad at all but I've only had it for 3 months.

Question by chris03711: Blackberry 8703 Help?
Just got a new BB 8703. I need to know how to seperate my emails and SMS texts. I don't have the option under my General Email Settings. Does anyone know how to do this? FYI...I have had two other BB's and never had this problem. Did RIM change the location of this option?

You will need to install the 4.2.1 operating system on the device in order to have that option. The newer BlackBerrys already have the 4.2 operating system so it is already there.
You can get the latest operating system for the BlackBerry 8703 from the link in the sources section.

So there's a Blackberry Bold for sale on Craigslist and he's offering 5 which is a pretty good deal. I have AT&T and that Blackberry is made for AT&T. But the thing is, I don't want internet on it because I don't want to pay the extra a month for it. Would I have to unlock it first before I use it to not have internet plan?
