Question by Ms Awesome: Does your cell phone carrier matter if you want to upgrade your OS on your blackberry?
I'm about to get the blackberry curve. It just came out with Cellular South. I don't know what OS it is using but I read that it has to have 4.5 in order to play videos on youtube. I also read that you can upgrade your OS on the blackberry site but does it matter who your carrier is? Because cellular south is a privately own company.

It shouldn't matter for the upgrade. The only place it might matter is as far as what's included in your plan - pricing.

    i have t-mobile BB Curve (8320)
    and i just upgraded my OS to 4.5
    No Problem…..
